MEET THE ATTORNEY

Gary W Crawford


Gary is an experienced attorney who believes that clients should receive excellent service for their legal needs. His years of practice as an attorney specializing in the areas of Taxation, Estate Planning, Probate, Elder Law, Business Organizations and Transactions, and Residential and Commercial Real Estate make him ideally suited to clients who have needs in these areas. 


A native of Greer and a graduate of Presbyterian College, Gary is also a Viet Nam Veteran. He served in the United States Army as a First Lieutenant in the Field Artillery. He was the recipient of Vietnamese Service and Campaign Medals and the Bronze Star Medal. 


After leaving the military, Gary received his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He then worked for four years as an Estate and Gift Tax Attorney, Examination Branch, Audit Division, for the Internal Revenue Service in Columbia, South Carolina. Gary then served for three years as the Assistant Minority Counsel with the United States Senate Committee on Veterans Affairs in Washington, DC.


In 1980, Gary attended the Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William and Mary in Virginia, Williamsburg, VA, where he received his Masters of Law and Taxation. Upon his graduation, he opened a Private Practice in Florence, SC, where he has continued to practice as a Solo Practitioner.


Gary and his experienced team of paralegals assist clients with estate planning, real estate transactions, probate matters, corporate matters, taxation, and related issues of law. His team brings knowledge and understanding to each client’s situation with the goal of reaching a successful conclusion.
